About Brooklyn Donut & Coffee Co
If you're after a donut and a proper coffee while you're at Westfield Northlakes, Brooklyn Donut & Coffee Co is the little shop to know in North Lakes, Queensland. Their donuts are made fresh in-store each day, with a decent spread on display, and the specialty coffee sits alongside them.
Locals mention the lemon meringue donut and the choc donuts, plus brownies and hot chocolate for anyone not after a coffee. Vegan donuts get a regular nod too, with coconut and biscoff among them, though gluten free options aren't on offer. They are on the sweet side, so come prepared. The donuts lean towards a denser, cakier bite rather than light and airy, and opinion on the dough is a little split, with the odd grumble about freshness at certain times of day.
The staff are what people keep coming back to. We hear they're friendly, quick even when the shop is busy, and regulars say they remember names and orders. People also like that they've found a clever way to reuse bits of packaging as cup trays. Prices run a touch high for a donut, though the quality can justify the cost.
Beyond the counter, they do takeaway, delivery, catering and custom cake orders. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted. Hours vary a little across the week, so check before you head in.

“All the ladies are very welcoming and friendly. Even when there are people waiting and only 1 staff member working they are never flustered or annoyed.”
“Got donuts and coffee from them today and needed a cup tray. They gave me a cut up milk bottle turned into a cup tray. Love that they are using existing rubbish they have to make cup trays - so much better for the environment.”
