About Bakers Delight Plenty Valley
Bakers Delight Plenty Valley is the local branch of the well-known chain in Mill Park, Victoria. Locals mention fresh from the oven loaves, a warm bakery smell first thing in the morning, and helpful staff at the counter.
Bread and buns are the main event, and the sourdough has a following. Families pick up school lunch supplies here, and we've heard the staff are patient with kids who can't decide what to have. One local simply said the service is always great and the bread always fresh. Another thought the bakery had been given a new lease of life under its current owners.
It's also a community-minded spot. We hear it backs local football clubs, including Mill Park's own, which tends to earn a bakery some goodwill in a suburb like this.
A couple of people have felt a loaf or two wasn't at its best, and one wished for a more careful approach to handling products at the counter. Those sound like off days rather than the usual experience, and the general feeling around the area is still positive.
You can shop in store or take your order to go, and delivery is available too. The car park and entrance are wheelchair-accessible, and they take cards and tap-and-pay. Breakfast is on offer, and it's worth checking the hours before you head in if you're after something specific early.
