About Slice of Perfection

Slice of Perfection is a Sicilian-inspired bakehouse, café and pizzeria in Woodend, and it does a bit of everything under one roof. By day it runs as a café with Italian-style coffee, homemade Italian desserts, hand-made uncooked pasta, ready-made meals and pizza bases to take home. By night the focus shifts to Neapolitan pizza, available as takeaway or dine-in. There's seating, including outdoor seating, and vegetarian and vegan options are on the menu. Kerbside pickup is also offered if you'd rather not come inside.

Customers often mention the pizza. We hear the bases have a light, fluffy, crisp-edged texture, and that you don't leave feeling bloated. The pepperoni pizza has been mentioned, and toppings get praise too. Away from the pizza, the focaccia comes out of the oven fresh, one local raved about the Mortadella Schiacciata, and the cannoli get a mention as well. People also call it good value, which counts for a lot when you're feeding a family.

Stefan runs the pizza side. He's a Neapolitan pizza chef with two accreditations from the Associazione Pizzauoli Napoletani in Naples, and he competed in the 2023 World Pizza Championships. One local who used them for a second corporate event said Stefan fed a crowd of 80 within hours and everyone left happy. Pasta turned up on that menu too.

It's closed early in the week, and opening times vary between days and between lunch and dinner. Check the hours before you head in.
