Kimbercrust Bakery & Top End Ice is the kind of bakery in Kununurra, Western Australia, that fills up fast with tradies, travellers and locals after something hot from the oven. Pies are what most people steer you towards first, and the sausage rolls get just as many nods. Curry pies, a ham and cheese sandwich, a salami salad sandwich and a chicken and avo Turkish bread have all had a good run with visitors, and the vanilla slice, muffins and macadamia tart come up often too.

They take cards and tap-and-pay. Opening hours run from early morning, with a later close on most days than you'd expect from a bakery, but check the hours before you head in.
