About Donut King Dubbo Orana Mall

Donut King at Orana Mall is the spot in Dubbo, New South Wales, for a hot cinnamon donut, and that's the line the shop leans on: "Home of the Hot Cinnamon Donut". Donuts are made fresh through the day, with iced varieties alongside the cinnamon ones, plus hot dogs, coffee and milkshakes for anyone wanting more than a sugar hit.

Folks around Dubbo mention the friendly counter staff and donuts that come out fresh from the oven. One local who ordered a few boxes for a group said the cinnamon donuts were hot, packed well and ready on time, even with a queue building. Another keeps coming back whenever they're in town, mostly for the thick shakes.

It's not all glowing. Opinion on the coffee is a little split, with some calling it great and one finding it average, and one visitor felt the filled donuts didn't quite match their descriptions. If a promotion is the reason for your visit, it's worth confirming it with the shop first.

You can take your order away or sit down inside, and there's seating, plus a wheelchair-accessible entrance, car park and toilet. They take card and tap payments, and there's free street parking nearby. They're open seven days, with slightly shorter hours on weekends, so check the hours before you head in, especially if you want a coffee late in the afternoon.
