Home of the Original Glazed doughnut, it does the full signature range alongside barista coffee, shakes and bagels, and you can take it away, dine in, have it delivered or pick it up in store. There's seating inside, and the shop has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, car park and toilet.

It's a compact store rather than a big stand-alone one, so locals will tell you the range is more limited than you'd find at the larger sites. Even so, there are plenty of options and the flavours get rotated regularly. Cookies and cream and the peanut butter filled doughnuts have their fans, and the M&M doughnut gets a mention too. One local suggested the coffee combo, which pairs any coffee with two doughnuts of your choice, and the sampler box of an original glaze dozen and an assorted dozen is seen as good value. The coffee itself is fine rather than the main event, and one person thought the assorted dozen could have had a better spread on the day they visited, so it's worth going earlier when the trays are fuller.

Where this shop really earns its reputation is the service. A visitor was glad of the patience shown when they came with questions about what suited their vegan friends, and staff are friendly and happy to make recommendations. The shop also runs doughnut decorating sessions, which went down well with one group, and the retro neon sign gives the place a cheerful, clean feel without being crowded.
