About Goldies Bake Shop
Goldies Bake Shop is a bakery in Helensvale, Queensland, part of the Goldie's family-owned bakery group, and known for pies. The family meat pies are popular, with one local saying there's always one in the freezer at home. They're also seen as good value, and the sausage rolls get a happy mention too.
Cakes are the other big draw. Custom orders are a speciality, and people talk about birthday cakes that looked just like the picture they'd asked for and tasted fresh and light rather than heavy. Ordering online is described as easy, and the staff have a name for being friendly and helpful, sorting out designs without fuss. One local even came away with a free cake topper. Some find cake pricing cheaper than competitors and one person finds it dear, so it's worth asking for a quote.
It works as a casual stop too. Coffee is made to order, and there's lactose-free milk if you need it. You can dine in or take away, and delivery is available. They also do catering packs for events and parties. The shop has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park, free parking nearby, and takes card and mobile payments.
