About Donut King Caneland Central

Donut King Caneland Central is a donut shop in Mackay, Queensland, part of the Donut King chain and sold under the banner "Home of the Hot Cinnamon Donut". The hot cinnamon donut is the signature, and it sits alongside iced varieties, all made fresh each day.

The menu goes beyond donuts. You can order hot dogs, coffee and milkshakes as well, which makes it an easy stop for a quick bite, a sweet treat or a drink while you're out shopping at Caneland. People who drop in mention the donuts coming fresh from the oven and the friendly young staff behind the counter.

Both takeaway and dine-in are on offer, and there is seating if you'd rather sit down with your order. Getting there is straightforward, with free street parking and a free car park nearby, plus a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance. They accept credit and debit cards as well as tap-and-go mobile payments.

It's a casual, no-fuss spot rather than a traditional bread-and-pies bakery, so it suits a donut and coffee run more than a loaf for dinner. Check the hours before you head in, as they can vary across the week and into the weekend.
