Why Choose Goldies Bake Shop Southport?

Southport locals keep coming back for the freshly made pies and custom cakes. The family meat pies have a devoted following (perfect for freezing for last-minute dinners), and the birthday cakes are known for both presentation and genuine flavour, particularly the photo cakes. The welcoming staff and smooth coffee round out a solid bakery stop in Southport Park Shopping Centre.

About Goldies Bake Shop Southport

Southport locals who know Goldies Bake Shop tend to talk about two things first: the pies and the birthday cakes. The pies come out fresh, and the family pies in particular get a loyal following. It's the kind of bakery where people keep a few in the freezer for a last-minute dinner, and the sausage rolls are a regular order too. Pastry fans also mention the carrot cake and vanilla slice, and the coffee gets a nod for being smooth rather than burnt.

Cakes are the other big draw. People who've ordered for kids' birthdays and 21sts talk about good presentation and cakes that actually taste as good as they look. Custom orders can be placed online and collected from a nearby store, and we've heard vegan and photo cakes both turn out well. Catering packs for parties and events are on offer too.

The bakery is part of Goldie's Bake Shop, a family-owned group that has been going since 1944. This Southport shop sits within the shopping centre, with takeaway on offer, and card and mobile payments accepted. There's a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance. Locals are mostly full of praise for the staff, though we've heard the odd grumble about service on a particular shift.

Opening hours run through the week, including weekends, but check before you head in.
