The first thing people mention is the display. Cakes, pastries and desserts fill the window and counter, and the vanilla slice, cannoli and donuts come up often. The sourdough has a following too, and custom cake orders are a regular part of the trade, handy if you're planning a birthday or a family get-together.

Unlike plenty of bakeries, you can stay. There's an indoor seating area, a courtyard out the back (walk right through to find it) and outdoor tables, and dogs are welcome outside.
