Love Camellia is a small tea house and sourdough bakery in Maroochydore, set in a garden that locals describe as calm and quiet. The loaves are the draw. You can take a loaf home, and there's gluten free bread, cookies and cakes on offer too.

Breakfast and light meals come out of the same kitchen, and we hear everything is made fresh on the premises, from the sauces and chutneys to the bread and desserts, with no preservatives. Tea is a big part of the experience. There are blends to sample while you wait for a pot, and the house spicy chai latte gets a mention, along with good coffee and quick service.

The welcome is a big part of why people come back. Chelsea gets a nod for taking time to talk through the choices and passing on tips about the Sunshine Coast, and visitors travelling through with a caravan have made a point of stopping in. The business identifies as women-owned.
