About Walter Providore

Walter Providore is a neighbourhood café in Castlecrag that doubles as a bit of a baguette stop. The team bakes their baguettes daily, and one customer has remarked on the crispy outside. We've also heard good things about a warm salt-and-pepper tofu roll on the same bread, and the croissants and pastry cabinet get regular mentions too, though one local found the croissants a touch on the buttery side.

The menu leans on Vietnamese influence alongside café classics. Croissants and pastries come up often, and so does the all-day breakfast, with baked eggs and chorizo a favourite. There's a lamington one local called the best they'd had, and Toby Estate coffee behind the machine.
