The pies are what people talk about. We hear the wagyu pie gets plenty of love, along with a bolognaise pie with a generous, wholesome filling. The sausage roll is the other one locals keep returning to, with flaky, light pastry and good-quality sausage. Croissants and pastries are fresh from the oven, and the pistachio croissant and the lemon yuzu pastry have both won fans. There's also a baguette with whipped labneh and poached eggs that one local called simply divine.

Staff get a warm word in the neighbourhood. One regular singles out Celeste for looking after an elderly friend, and others describe the team as friendly and attentive. It can get busy, as you'd expect, and the odd person has found the table service a little slow on a quiet day.

They've been making and baking since 2021, and they take online orders for pickup.
